Primary care house calls across New Jersey
A house call is a complete primary care appointment that happens where you live. Same exam, same prescriptions, same referrals, without the parking lot, the waiting room or the ride home.
What the visit covers
Your provider arrives with a portable exam kit and your full chart already open. A routine visit runs 45 to 60 minutes. That time goes into listening, examining, reviewing every medication bottle in the house and writing a plan you and your family actually understand.
Visits include a physical exam, vital signs, point-of-care testing such as blood glucose, EKG when indicated, wound checks, prescription writing and refills, referrals to specialists, and orders for imaging or home health.
Who house calls are for
Home based primary care is built for people for whom leaving the house is the hard part: older adults with mobility limits, people recovering from surgery or a hospital stay, patients on oxygen, people with dementia who get agitated in clinics, and anyone whose caregiver cannot take another day off work to manage a 20 minute appointment.
We also see busy adults who simply want primary care that fits around a workday. You do not have to be homebound to be our patient.
How scheduling works
Call or send a message and our coordinator will confirm your address, insurance and reason for the visit. Routine appointments are usually offered within a few business days, and established patients can often be seen the same day for an urgent problem. We give a two hour arrival window and text when the provider is on the way.

Questions about primary care house calls
Is a house call as thorough as an office visit?
For primary care, yes, and often more so. Seeing your kitchen, your stairs, your pill bottles and your home setup gives a doctor information no office visit produces. Anything that genuinely needs hospital equipment gets referred, exactly as it would from a clinic.
How long does a home visit take?
Plan on 45 to 60 minutes for a first visit and 30 to 45 minutes for a follow up.
Do you charge extra to travel?
No. There is no travel fee, concierge fee or membership charge. We bill your insurance for the visit the same way a clinic would.
