Same-day urgent visits at home

A urinary tract infection does not need a six hour emergency department stay. It needs a urine sample, a look at you and the right antibiotic, all of which fit in a bag.

What we handle same day

Suspected urinary and respiratory infections, COPD and heart failure flare-ups, cellulitis and wound infections, falls without obvious fracture, dehydration, uncontrolled blood sugar, new confusion, rashes, and medication side effects.

What we send to the hospital

Chest pain, stroke symptoms, suspected fractures, major bleeding and anything needing surgery or continuous monitoring go to an emergency department, and we call ahead so the team knows what to expect. Being honest about this line is part of the service.

Who can request one

Same-day urgent visits are for established patients. If you are not yet a patient, we can usually schedule a first visit quickly, but for anything acute today, urgent care or an emergency department is the right call.

Questions about urgent same-day visits

Do you visit at night?

Our nurse line answers around the clock for established patients and a provider is available by phone. In-person visits are scheduled during clinical hours.

Can you do stitches or IV fluids at home?

We do simple wound closure and wound care. IV hydration is arranged through a home infusion partner when it is appropriate.
