Telehealth between house calls

Not every question needs a person in your living room. Some need five minutes on the phone today rather than an appointment next week.

When telehealth is the right tool

Reviewing lab results, adjusting a blood pressure or diabetes medication, checking whether a new symptom needs an in-person look, refilling prescriptions, and answering the questions a family member thought of after the visit ended.

When it is not

Anything that needs to be listened to, pressed on or looked at closely gets a home visit instead, and we will say so rather than stretching a video call past what it can do.

Keeping it simple

A telehealth visit is a phone call unless you would rather use video. There is no app to install and no account to create. If video helps, we send a link that opens in the browser.

Questions about telehealth follow-ups

Does Medicare cover telehealth?

Coverage rules have changed several times in recent years. We check your specific plan before scheduling and tell you what to expect.

Can I get a first appointment by video?

We prefer a first visit in person so the exam and home assessment are complete. After that, mix and match.

Ready for a visit at home?

Call and speak with a real person. We will confirm your insurance, find a time and come to you.
